Welcome, Dear Visitor, in the Peace Of Christ!
It is a delight to have you visit. Julian Hermitage is the anchorhold of a Roman Catholic follower of Christ, a hermit, an anchoress dedicated to Him in the consecrated service of love, prayer and worship. Living both the fullness of Benedictine spirituality - "ut in omnibus Deus glorificetur" (That in all things God may be glorified) and the
contemplative spirit of Carmel "to be alone with the Alone". - St. Teresa. This life is a singular expression lived in association with - Hermits of Mary Mother of our Saviour.
This is a prayer space - a loving and peaceful place for all, especially established for weary souls to refresh themselves and learn about the love and mercy of God. You will find traditional prayers here and meditations from one who lives humbly at the foot of God's throne. You are encouraged to create your own prayer space and draw closer to the One who created and loves you. And whatever place you find yourself in life, know that you are being prayed for and that you are loved by God.
Remember, prayer need not be difficult - ponder the words of this great Saint:
Prayer, in my opinion, is nothing else than a close sharing between friends; it means taking time frequently to be alone with him whom we know loves us.
